57 Percent

A recent poll on Foxnews says that 57 percent of confessing evangelical Christians say that other religions can lead to heaven.  For those who get confused by all the categories and names and such, an evangelical Christian is one that most would call a ‘fundamentalist’ in that they would say that the Bible is the center of faith and practice.  So, 57 percent of the people that attend churches that teach that what the Bible teaches is the truth say that what the Bible teaches (Christ is the only way) is false.  People- better start reading up on Matthew 13:24-30 and the parable of the weeds.  To quote it- An enemy has done this.

Sharon Stone this week asked rhetorically if the Chinese earthquake was a result of Karma.  Now, to the average person, this is just a stupid question and a public faux pas that her PR people are already spinning.  But in mentioning the Dalai Lama in the same qoute, Stone reveals her Buddhist background and Christians need to be paying attention

The Emperor Has No Clothes

Any thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ should be taken out behind the barn and shot (2 Cor 10:5).  No, that doesn’t mean that I think unbelievers should be shot.  Some ‘Christians’ on the other hand . . .
