I hear it all the time- ‘That’s just theology,’ ‘I hate theology but I love Jesus,’ ‘God’s to big to put into any kind of theological box.’  All of these thoughts only do one thing . . .

The ultimate issue in the whole ‘Pelagian’ captivity is ‘what does God say?’  Relative to that, it really doesn’t matter what anyone says or thinks.  ‘Let God be true and every man a liar’ Paul says in Romans.  Amen to that!

T.P.C.o.t.C.- What is it?

So what is the Pelagian captivity of the church?  Well, it’s as old as the church itself, really even older.  It goes all the way back to the Garden, but that is another story.

The title is totally ripped from a R.C. Sproul article of the same name.  But it is so scarily accurate that I had to use it.  What does it mean?  Where does it come from?  Good questions.
